Natasha Syed

Natasha is a current medical student at the University of Exeter.

During her internship with the project, she assisted with the production of the ‘Shame in Medicine: The Lost Forest Podcast‘ event for the British Science Festival 2023. She also delivered a successful social media campaign to publicise project outputs and events.

Natasha wrote Reflective Practice: A Tool to Process Shame for the Shame and Medicine Blog.

Outside of her studies, Natasha is passionate about the diversification of medical curricula to reflect a broader patient population and is actively involved in projects that support student accessibility and well-being.
